What you get with a Double
D pup:
All puppies will have had their tails docked and dewclaws
removed shortly after birth. Our puppies are sold with a five
generation pedigree, stud certificate and health record. They
will have had their first shots, and will have been started
on Heartgard® and Advantix®. We have all our puppies
BAER (hearing) tested and evaluated before they leave our
home. Our puppies are trained to use a litter box, and have
been crate-trained to make your house training easier and
have even ridden in the car a few times.
Double D is a member of the Yankee Jack Russell Terrier Network (YJRTN). For 2013, the YJRTN is giving all new owners of
a puppy purchased from a breeder member a free years membership. We will forward your name and contact information to the YJRTN and hope you
will enjoy meeting some of the nicest terrier people in the world and take advantage of the training days and trials the YJRTN puts on.
Reserving a pup:
There is always a demand for our puppies. We recommend you
call and place your name on our reservation list, either for
a pup from a specific litter or the next litter available.
There is no charge for putting your name on our reservation
list. Once the litter is on the ground and we know what will
be available (m/f, color/markings) we will accept deposits.
A non-refundable deposit of $250 is required to hold a puppy
at that time.
Getting your Double D pup:
We are very concerned with the well-being of our puppies and
we want to make sure that your new puppy joins your family
in the best of health. Flying a puppy in the cargo hold is
very stressful and exposes a puppy with incomplete immunity
to all sorts of germs and bacteria. Additionally, most carriers
will not ship at certain times of the year because of extremes
in temperature. Therefore, we do not ship our puppies via
air, unless they are traveling on YOUR lap or under YOUR seat.
If you need information about the nearest airport and what
air carriers service it, let us know. We will be happy to
meet your flight and deliver your puppy to you at the airport.
